Logica demonstrates solutions for Sustainable Mobility at ITS in Europe 2008
Logica, a leading IT and business services company, has announced that it is a gold sponsor of the ITS in Europe 2008 exhibition, and will use the event to demonstrate its expertise in the accelerated deployment of large scale intelligent transport systems (ITS) and sustainable mobility. The conference takes place 4-6 June 2008 at the Palexpo Convention Centre in Geneva, Switzerland.
The company’s experts will be available to discuss solutions in the areas of: Road Charging, E-Ticketing, Dynamic Traffic Management, Smart Logistics and Eco-Mobility. Logica will also be chairing three sessions:
- From Road Charging Interoperability (RCI) onwards - an industry and operator view of the future (Wednesday 4 June 2008 at 14.00)
- Intelligent cargo for efficient, safe and environment-friendly logistics (Wednesday 4 June at 14.00)
- Co-operative traffic systems for the environment reducing traffic emissions (Friday 6 June 2008 at 9.00)

The theme for the 2008 event is ‘ITS for Sustainable Mobility’. The conference will present strategic vision through to the technical implementation of ITS applications, from research and planning to the operational use of systems and services. It offers a number of technical visits to interesting ITS applications in Switzerland and in nearby France.

The 7th European Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be held 4-6 June 2008 at the Palexpo Convention Centre in Geneva, Switzerland.
