Gary Bullard

Gary Bullard

Executive Partner Transport, Trade and Industrial and President Logica UK

Gary Bullard joined Logica as CEO, UK in September 2011. Prior to joining Logica, Gary gained over 30 years experience in the IT and telecoms industries. He held senior executive positions at IBM and was President, BT Global Services until 2007. Gary then diversified his career through interim executive management and consulting assignments from major corporations and he also founded Catquin, supporting senior female executives in furthering or diversifying their careers and helping companies support female diversity. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Chloride Group from 2005 to 2010 and is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the remuneration committee of Rotork plc, a FTSE industrial company.

David Humphries

Chief finance officer, UK

David was appointed UK CFO for Logica in October 2011. David has worked for Logica for more than 10 years in a variety of roles including the CFO of the Telecoms Products business, the integration director for the merger of Logica and CMG and was most recently the corporate development director. He leads Logica’s UK finance team and offshore accounting support function.

Prior to working at Logica, David spent over a decade at Deloittes where he was a director in the London corporate finance practice having initially trained in their corporate recovery (insolvency) division. David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has extensive experience across IT services, software and telecoms industries.

Nick Collier

Nick Collier

UK and global functions human resources director

Nick Collier was appointed to the role of UK & Global Functions HR Director in September 2010. With more than twenty year experience in the field of HR, Nick heads up Logica’s HR Leadership across the UK business and global functions.

Nick sees his priorities as one of improving organisational effectiveness.  From the way we identify and grow our talent through to how we are organised, through to the evolution of a more performance driven culture.  He regards effective leadership at all levels as a fundamental component.

Before joining Logica, Nick was Vice President of EMEA for Hewlett Packard Enterprises Services Division.  Other previous roles include the EMEA HR Leader for EDS, and UK HR Director for Deloitte.

Ed Jones

Ed Jones

Managing director, public sector, UK

Ed was appointed as UK Managing director of public sector in September 2011 following a successful career at Logica and his previous role as UK MD, programme and technical services. Ed joined Logica after graduating in computer science from the University of Leeds. His other positions have included responsibility for Logica’s synthetic environment, land systems and defence businesses.

Peter Hands

Peter Hands

Logica UK, Managing Director Outsourcing Services

Peter Hands is the Managing Director for Logica UK Outsourcing Services business. He is responsible for delivering and growing Logica’s outsourcing services in the UK, which includes some of Logica’s largest contracts such as with Shell, Ministry of Justice and the Serious Organised Crime Agency.

Peter joined Logica in early 2011 as Operations Director for Outsourcing Services. Prior to this he held a number of senior positions at HP, most recently as COO for the Department of Work and Pensions account in the public sector. Before that he ran IT Outsourcing for all EDS’ operations in the UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa and has also had roles at BT Global Services and Schlumberger.

Peter has more than 20 years global service delivery experience driving IT led transformation, and winning major new deals.

Harbinder Dhaliwal

Harbinder Dhaliwal

Managing director for the transport & commercial sector (maternity leave), UK

Harbinder Dhaliwal was appointed to the UK board of Logica in February 2009 as Managing Director for the Transport & Commercial sector. She has been instrumental in sustaining Logica's reputation for innovation such as pioneering e-commerce solutions in the early 1990's and more recently smart travel card schemes. After successfully growing both the Banking and Insurance Services business, she took responsibility for the Transport sector, overseeing a number of years of double digit growth.

Harbinder has worked with London First, CASS business school and is currently on the CBI Council for London.

Paul Muscat

Managing director (Interim) for the transport & commercial sector

Paul Muscat was appointed interim MD of Logica’s Transport & Commercial business in September 2010.  After twenty years of international experience managing businesses, clients, and development of solutions he has responsibility for delivering and growing services to the Transport & Commercial sector throughout the UK.   Paul’s previous roles at Logica include consultancy, business development, client and business management in the Oil, Gas and Manufacturing sectors.  Prior to joining Logica, Paul held consulting positions with SD-Scicon and EDS in Europe and the Far East.

Chris Gant

Chris Gant

Managing director, financial services, UK

Chris was appointed UK MD, Financial Services in January 2011 having joined the firm from Capgemini in November 2009. He is responsible for setting strategy and growing the firm’s services for banking and insurance clients in the UK. At Capgemini, Chris spent three years as Vice President and Client Executive for a global banking client – a client relationship he created. Previously he was a consulting partner for seven years with KPMG’s financial services practice in London – spending 18 years in total with the firm. Chris is a qualified accountant and has extensive international experience having worked extensively in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.

Martin Ewart

Managing director, energy, utilities and telecoms, UK

Martin was appointed as MD of our Energy, Utilities and Telco business in June 2010. Martin has extensive leadership experience and has managed the implementation of large change with budgets of over £500M and significant benefit delivery. In recent years Martin has focussed on leading the development of our Scottish business and our FS Business. Before joining Logica Martin was IT Director for HBOS and as a senior manager with Xansa. Martin’s background is a balance of Financial Services and Management Consultancy.

Steve Smart

Managing director, space and defence, UK

Steve was appointed Managing Director for the Space and Defence business as UK Board Member in 2011. Since joining Logica in 1996 Steve has held many senior roles within Space and Defence and has been responsible for delivery of a number of advanced concept demonstrator programmes and operational systems including the Skynet 5 PFI programme supporting the commercial viability case for the Skynet 5 programme and the development of the UK’s role in the European Space agencies navigation programmes helping to secure a number of key development programmes in the UK for the Galileo programme. Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

Tom Matheussen

Tom Matheussen

Managing director, programmes and technical services (PTS), UK

Tom was appointed Managing Director of Programmes and Technical Services for Logica UK in September 2011. Prior to this, Tom was the Director of PTS Practices. He joined Logica in August 2010.

As MD of PTS, Tom is responsible for professional services and system integration programmes Logica deliver for UK public and private sector clients. His responsibilities extend to ensuring that Logica deliver on their client commitments, deliver innovation and develop the 2500+ people who make up the delivery organisation that is PTS. Tom has worked in the IT and professional services industry for 15 years specialising in global standardisation. Prior to joining Logica he was Vice President at BT Global Services and Director at IBM Global Services.

Melba Foggo

Melba joined Logica in November 2010 as Global Sustainability Services Practice Lead for Logica Business Consulting. In October 2011 Melba was appointed as Managing Director of UK Business Consulting; Melba continues to lead the International Practice for Sustainability.

Prior to joining Logica, Melba was a founder of Ernst & Young's global Climate Change and Sustainability Services practice, established in 2008. Melba has also held leadership positions in fields of risk and compliance, advisory, investigations and disputes, sales and business development.

Led by Melba, the UK Business Consulting practice will deliver value and provide strategic insight to our clients creating sustainable transformation by bringing technology and business together. Melba’s focus is to build Logica’s UK Business Consulting practice building capability through an enhanced focus on clients and sectors.

Melba is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), treasurer and a trustee for Global Cool, a green lifestyle organisation that inspires people to think and live differently.
