Logica and UCL partner for Innovation

Logica, now part of CGI and University College London (UCL) have agreed a partnership to collaborate on key technology issues by sharing resources and information in order to provide insightful solutions to business issues.
UCL, one of the worlds’ prestige universities and research centre, and technology service company Logica will collaborate on key technological issues which will see the exchange of resources to work on industry related issues. The collaboration will tackle real world challenges by providing insight of the future and here and now solutions.
Through access to UCL’s long term research projects and academics, Logica strengthens its innovation capabilities for clients. The partnership will bridge the gap between the immediate technology challenges with emerging research in cutting-edge fields to enable companies and organisations to establish a clear view for their futures.
Paula Sussex, Head of Public Services for Logica, now part of CGI said “This is really exciting, and will help us tap into the best brains of the university to help us think about our positioning in the marketplace and will help us be innovative. Anthony Finkelstein, Dean of the UCL Faculty of Engineering Sciences, was also excited by the partnership saying “UCL and Logica are obvious partners. Logica have the skill and scale as well as the understanding of customer requirements to provide the innovation pipeline that can deliver our research to where it matters.”
