“During the last 3 years Logica has won a slew of innovative sustainable technology projects including electric vehicle infrastructure in the Netherlands…IT services firms must show the entrepreneurial flair and strategic intent demonstrated by Logica”– Verdantix, Green IT Analyst of the Year
We work with public sector and transport clients to achieve more sustainable options across multiple modes of transport. Our expertise in sustainability and optimising supply chains means we can reduce carbon and energy costs across sectors. Solutions like these become powerful when you put the right real-time information into people’s hands. For example, for the City of Helsinki, we shaped an online trip planner, so that travellers can find the most convenient route across all modes of transport, including walking and cycling – and the region's economy and environment benefits too.
We were the first to implement an interoperable national-wide EV charging scheme in Europe using our CiMS software . We are working with some of Europe’s leading transport and logistics fleet organisations, for example with on-board equipment helping them achieve their carbon footprint targets and significantly reducing their energy or fuel bill. We also supported the latest Rallye des Gazelles with real time monitoring of carbon emissions of each vehicle and accurate analysis of the overall impact on the environment.
“In 2010 Logica’s electric vehicle charging solution won the highest award in the category of Environment, Energy and Agriculture in IDG’s Computerworld honors program.”
Helping everyone do more with less is what sustainable mobility is all about. Let’s take the journey together.
