In the UK, we are members of the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG) CHECK Scheme - our consultants are fully qualified to carry out IT health checks for Government. We have a team solely dedicated to Identrus. Our IT Security customers include, Sun Microsystems, Oracle, Sony, Ministry of Defence, Ofsted, and NatWest Bank, for whom we have provided vulnerability assessments and identification, security architecture design and consultancy, PKI services and secure products and systems design. We have provided world wide security consultancy and services that are compliant with international and national legislation and security standards.
- Logica helped develop many of the standards in use worldwide including the ISO/IEC 17799:2005 information security , ISO 25999-1 business continuity code of practice, and the original ITSEC scheme
- Logica is responsible for the successful security accreditation of the Defence Information Infrastructure programme - the biggest and most complex single infrastructure project, to date, being rolled-out in Europe.
- Logica has designed and implemented end-to-end security as part of the case management system for the UK Crown Prosecution Service (CPS)
- Logica has the largest UK security practices in Europe
- Logica has undertaken over 60 per cent of UK government system security evaluations
- Logica is responsible for the evaluation of 70 per cent of all products commercially evaluated in the UK
- Logica is the UK leader in information security management - one of the first organisations to obtain BS7799-2 certification (now ISO/IEC 27001)
- Logica has delivered the largest security awareness programme in the world
- Logica has designed the IT disaster recovery programme for the world’s largest wood based manufacturer with a turnover of 1.5 billion euros
- Logica was one of the first companies in Australia to establish an IT security evaluation facility in 1995 and since then, has performed a large number of common criteria and ITSEC evaluations for clients in the USA, UK, Ireland and South Korea as well as Australia
